"Taffy"
2004 Golden Retriever Nationals, Calgary, Alberta
This is our kennels foundation bitch.
Taffy was purchased in 1997 from Ann Greenbank DVM. (Verdoro Kennels)
Taffy received her championship owner handled (my first time in the ring). She has earned a Best of Breed, Puppy Group, 2nd in veteran sweeps at the 2004 Golden Retriever National, 2nd place in Brood Bitch at the 2004 Canadian Nationals and BOS in 2005 Golden Specialty Sweeps. She has produced 7 champion offspring from two litters. With a total of 8 champion progeny.
She has beautiful effortless movement, great pigmentation, great shoulders and a correct coat. Her head is boxy but feminine with very pretty features. She is a very calm, gentle golden with a lower energy level than the average golden.
She came from a very good litter where 4 other littermates have received their championship.
Her sire "Surrfur" is a very famous golden in the states where he was number two for two years running.
We are sorry to add that Taffy passed away August 31st 2006.
All who knew her, loved her, and will miss her dearly. I would like to thank everyone for their support and condolences at this sad time for us.

"Shandy"
Shandy is our first home bred champion. She received two 5 point wins as a puppy and a puppy group beating 73 other puppies in group. As an adult she has secured one Best of Breed and will be shown occasionally as a veteran.
Shandy's claim to fame is her beautiful head, big bone and a temperament to die for.
Like her siblings she is a dream to live with and to show.

"Zazu"
Zazu is flashy and has great reach and drive which she is throwing to her offspring. What she lacks in pigment she makes up for in attitude and coat. This little girl always has her tail wagging and loves to show.
She finished her show career with a Best Of Breed as a move up beating 4 specials.
This is another girl with a sweet, happy and loving disposition.
She is currently retired from the show ring and after 4 beautiful healthy litters she is retired from our breeding program.
To date she has 4 champion progeny with still more to show.
Zazu passed away summer 07 during a freak swimming accident. She will be greatly missed.

"Sky"
Sky finished her championship very quickly, thank goodness, because she would rather hang out at home or go camping.
After 2 litters and 2 c sections she is now spayed. Sky whelped only 2 puppies from her 1st litter and they are both champions and puppy group winners. She had 3 pups in her last litter and all 3 are going to be shown when they mature.
Sky lives with my Mom.

Jewel is our latest edition to our family and this blonde bomb shell will be bred to our boys Blaze, Buddy and Trooper. Jewel finished easily receiving her points in two shows back to back.

Cougar
Cougar is our little girl who has "spark". Her love of life and people makes her fun to be around.
Cougar lives with her foster parents Jeff and Vi in Edmonton.
Cougar's show career started by going 1st in her class at the Golden Specialty and Puppy Sweepstakes in Calgary 2005. She won 2 Best in Show fun matches as a puppy.
She finished her show career by going Best of Breed over 17 goldens, including 3 specials from the open female class.
She has one champion offspring - CH Taffy's Ice Cap "Buzz"

CHIA
Chia has been known as an angel since she was 8 weeks. She lives with Sherry and Peter and their small daughters in Westlock.
Chia's claim to fame is her incredible front end assembly and her movement.
She finished her championship with two 5 point wins and a 2 point win.
Chia produced 9 beautiful babies from a Dutch import - watch for her daughter Jezzy and son Murphy in the rings in 09.
