I live in the netherlands and was searching for names for my puppy.
you have a lot of nice names.
I already have 2 Goldens named Lizzy and a real dutch name Gijs.

I have wanted a puppy forever and not until I saw the puppies on your sight did I want a golden retreiver. I was hoping to put my puppy in show and many of yours are in show hopefully i'll get one!!

What beautiful goldens you have. I am very lucky to have a 6 year old female golden named Nikki!! She is my best friend and a true companion. Not a day goes by that she doesn't make me laugh. I am looking to get another female soon and will keep a eye on your website.

Hi Sue! We've had Sidney (from Chia X Reuben's litter) for a week now and he has been an absolute treasure. He is cheeky and curious but obedient and playful. I am so impressed that he can climb stairs so well at such a young age - you really train 'em well!
He really is a smart little cookie - we pretty much have him potty trained already!
Thank you so much for such a wonderful addition to our family. I will send you some pics of him in due course so you can see how the lil fella is doing.
P.S. His little bug bite is healing up very nicely and his hair is growing back quite quickly already!

Twenty months ago our family lost a member, our 11 1/2 year old gordon setter, Amber. We were at a lose to fill the void he left with his passing. Then I discovered Taffy's Golden Retrievers on a breeder's list. I emailed Sue, and she filled that void with a puppy named, Taffy Ice Cap, Buzz. He came to us on April 4, after a worldwind trip to Toronto; and three children recieved the best surprise of their lives!! He was the best thing to come into our lives, and he had everyone's heart from day one. He was cute, had a good temperment, and loved being with us, a true family member. He has a individual relationship with everyone in the family. He goes where we go, for a drive, out on the boat, to soccer, or on vacation. After 16 months with us he is now CH Taffy's Ice Cap. We would highly recommend these "golden" dogs to anyone that has the room in their hearts for one, and they will take your heart.

We have had our new little addition for almost a month and a half now (Dodger), and all I have to say is...WOW! He is the most precious thing on earth. I have never met a dog who is so relaxed yet playful and obedient yet testy. He is absolutely amazing. One of a kind personality from a one of a kind dog. Thank you so much Sue for everything. We will be interested in adding to our family very soon. Hope to see you then.

Willow is having a blast with her new playmates, the cats think she is crazy, look at her like, "yeah theres three of us, we can take you", Her and Tinker are constantly wrestling and she is building up goood muscle on her legs!
I love her to bits and so do the boys, Jarod walked her on his own when we went to the park tonight, kinda the blind leading the blonde, but he thought it was a blast, having a dog he can walk.
She is doing so good with the baby and not jumping up, I am so impressed that she is picking this up so fast, you breed smart cookies!!

Hi Sue, Cash is doing great at his new home.....he loves his uncle Colby, they play and chase each other all day long. Thanks for breeding such friendly,beautiful dogs.

hello,
i'm sure your goldens are absolutely amazing pets
as are they competitors.
but i would just have to ask you one favor.
if you ever sell your dogs to someone named lily martens, think again.
i got my previous golden from her, she lives by steinbach, manitoba
and she sold me a puppy, we barely got to see the siblings when we came for the second time to pick him up.
when we got home he was friendly and cute
but when he turned about 3 months old
we found out he was dominantly agressive.
we tried everything to train him to trust us, and be un-protective over little things such as his toys, food, and bones.
but nothing worked - we soon realised he wasn't purebred, as he had a black mark on the top of his paw, and his muzzle was longer than usual.
his tail also never went up, it would always stay down, even when it wagged. the aggression got worse, when he was six months old, i had a treat in my hand, and he growled at me and then jumped up, bit my neck and held me down, and i almost had to go to the hospital.i now have a loving boxer dog, which actually has the character of a true golden. but we have given our previous golden to a retired trainer.
i will probably never again get a goldie, but i am just advising you to not sell your dogs to lily martens, because her puppies are not properly socialised from birth, and the parents and puppies sleep in a heated shed outside ... what a good breeder eh? i didn't think so.

Hey Susan,
I just wanted to thank you...Ever since May when we picked our puppy he's been wonderful, everything we could have asked for in a dog.....and some of that attributes to good breeding!! We might want our second puppy soon ;)

How fun! I couldn't downdoad all the photos, but did see Blaze and read about Trooper. MacKenzie is in her first heat!!!! I'd love to see a pic of the new litter! More later. the website is terrific! Good for you! when I can get my digital camera act together I'll send you a couple of our sweet girl. She looks so much like Blaze in the standing photo.
